  • Why Prim?!

yeesh collins! why did you have to go and let prim die? she could’ve had a long amazing life ahead of her and the real reason why Katniss ever volunteered for the hunger games and she would have never become the mockingjay!!! poor prim! and the way she does was just brutal (spoiler alert! do not continue reading this review if you did not read or finish the book!), she died right before Katniss’s eyes in a bombing explosion...there could have been so much more to prim’s life then just stress and war and violence. i wish Susanne Collins would’ve made a happy ending for prim at least!!!

I love this series and this book. Some parts were confusing even if I re-read them. I couldn’t stop reading them and read the series in one week. Amazing plot twists. I am sad that the series is over. A must read!😆😪🥰👏👏👏👏👏

Book 3 last book of trilogy series wasn’t quite my favorite I constantly had to re read parts because I just didn’t understand I would usually spend a week or 2 to finish both hunger game books but this one took about a month to finish because it didn’t grab me as a reader’s attention, why did Katniss have to be the mocking jay couldn’t they choose finnick or Haymich, but Katniss is the most rebellious. I didn’t quite understand the ending of the book about Katniss going back to the room she stayed in during the hunger games. It was wrong for gale to drop the bombs I hated president snow and coin from when they were first mentioned and why did they have to take Peeta!! Peeta is the bakers son why him whyyy I love Peeta and Katniss and how she always had nightmares and Peeta would stay with her ahh so much to handle but they rescued him in bad conditions. I just loved how she chose Peeta and not disgraceful gale. Peeta and Katniss where meant to be. Overall the beginning of the book was okay the middle was very confusing and uninteresting and the end was more understandable and made me want to read more. Thank you for this amazing trilogy series I sure did enjoy reading it. XOXO

I’m just gonna state this calmly even the deep inside im pretty upset, to say the least. Honestly, i think Suzanne Collins should’ve stopped at the second. The first? Amazing, fantastic, 5 stars. The second? Not amazing, but it was alright. And then there’s this book. Listen this may be a bit of a spoiler but its not direct as to who im talking about. Lets just say that if you’ve read the first two books, and you hate it when wonderful characters get killed, just stop right there. Stop at the second book and pretend everything turns out alright. I can’t tell you how upset i was. (SPOILER ALERT) Really, Gale, and Katniss’s mother. I was upset enough with her mother, but oh, god, was i angry with Gale. No phone calls?! And Katniss wasn’t upset. Stop now.
